Engage Welcomes Coca-Cola
The Coca-Cola Company joins Engage‘s current Fortune 500 corporations, enterprise startups, and research universities to accelerate the shared mission to elevate Atlanta and the Southeast as a leading technology and innovation hub.
John Murphy, EVP and CFO of Coca-Cola, joins the Engage Board of Directors. During more than three decades with Coca-Cola, Murphy has held various general management, finance, and strategic planning roles worldwide. Murphy believes in investing for sustainable growth in the future and remains focused on raising the performance bar everywhere to capture the opportunity available to Coca-Cola. He is also on the board of trustees of the Woodruff Arts Center.
Marie Quintero-Johnson, VP and Head of Corporate Development for Coca-Cola, joins Engage’s Advisory Board. Under her leadership, the company has completed more than $20 billion worth of transactions in more than 100 countries. Speaking about her engagement with us, Quintero-Johnson said “Engage provides Coca-Cola access to companies and talent with novel solutions in key areas of interest to us. It also offers the opportunity to collaborate with other Engage corporate partners.”
Unlike other startup hubs, Atlanta has emerged as a hotbed of innovation because the city’s ecosystem is diversified across industries. Our entrepreneurs and corporate executives will benefit greatly from the industry exposure and expertise of The Coca-Cola Company.
